At the Wardle Home, a maximum of four adolescent girls live with Patrick, Theresa and their young children and receive the clinical support and opportunities necessary to learn and practice healthier ways of living.
The girls interact with a myriad of environments - the family, the small farm and forest, the school and the local community - teaching them about connections in life, giving vs. receiving, respect for themselves and others, accountability and who they are and can become in the future.
Through the day to day living, working and playing with others, the girls begin to learn patience and tolerance, initiative and responsibility, empathy and forgiveness, friendship and sharing, appreciation and gratitude, and trust and compromise.

Within the nurturing, structured environment of the Wardle Home, girls can:
"I just wanted you to know: Thanks For all you do for & with me. It's awesome; knowing you're on my side. It's comforting to know. I admire you a great deal - as a mom, therapist, woman, friend. Thanks for everything." (2005 - student note)

"Thank you for all your support Patrick. I appreciate you and love talking to you. Thanks for everything." (2006 - student note)
