"I wanted to say thank you for helping me getting down the rough parts in the road, and turning my life around.  I am really thankful for you and Patrick letting me enter your family, giving me a place, food and for me to feel safe.  I really appreciate what you two are doing.  You guys will be missed terribly by me of course, I will always stay in contact and everything.  The thing that I'll terribly miss is having a family that I grew with for two years and trying to leave that.  Patrick was like the dad I never had, he was easy to talk to, calm, makes you laugh when you're not in a good mood.  He's just really outgoing and everything." " I cannot say thank you enough for your support, hospitality, love and patience.  Through the nights I've come home in tears, to the 'roommate battles', to the goodnight hugs and all the endless rides to town & back - ya'll have always been there.  We've shared everything together from pizza on the couch to the off-pitch songs in church.  Thank ya'll for being everything from a parent to a friend.  I owe ya'll credit for so much of my accomplishments - if it weren't for Theresa's drive to get me to walk and Patrick's funny and entertaining 'words of wisdom' to school everyday and Maureen's beautiful smile and vibrant life, I don't think I could have made it this far or at least be this successful.  You have all shown me a new perspective on life and given me many talents I can take with me forever.  Thanks again for all the gifts and love ya'll have showered me with - especially the opportunity to experience new life and fresh promise with Maureen...I know it was God's plan for us to be a family!  And I am so thankful for that!  Love always, your daughter @ heart."
